þ Roseola Etiology and Epidemiology
 - caused by Herpesvirus Type 6

þ Roseola History
 - rash comes on as 3-4 days of fever breaks
 - Classic History: A 1 year old child develops sudden onset of a very high
   fever which lasts for 3-5 days and is associated with a cough and runny
   nose. Just as the fever resolves, the patient suddenly develops a diffuse,
   truncal, erythematous maculopapular rash.
