Iontophoresis Study

þ Inclusion
 - 18 years or older
 - English-speaking, able to comprehend consent form
 - Simple laceration of face, trunk or extremity more than 6 cm.

þ Exclusion
 - known sensitivity to lidocaine
 - cardiac pacemaker
 - pregnancy
 - grossly contaminated wound
 - wound involving scalp, fingers, toes, penis, tip of nose

þ Procedure
 - identify study patient

 - patient receives iontophoresis of lidocaine or standard infiltration of
   lidocaine
 - complete data sheet
